Introduction
Hello Today I am going to be talking about how Sound is made: For example near the middle of your ear there is something called an eardrum this is one of the ways that you can hear sound if the sound is quiet in one ear and loud in the other ear then that means that the sound is coming from the other direction.
Did You Know.
Did you know that even when you are sleeping your ear still hears things but your brain just chooses to ignore the sound did you know that if not now you do!

About How We Hear Sound
Here are a few pictures of sound waves. Sound vibrations as well.
Noise
Sound is when something makes a noise for example: Someone smashes a pan onto a table that would make a loud sound but if someone smashed paper on a table you can’t even hear it maybe you can hear it but you can hardly hear it even if you can.
A Fun Fact
An Interesting/Fun fact is that if you tie a string to a one cup and the other end to the other cup one person puts their ear and the other one talks if you do that you can hear each other
here is a cool picture of me and my friend trying it out

Experiments
One of the experiments that we have done is to put a tune fork into a beaker with water the water should splash you so if you try this be ready for water.
one of the experiments that we have done is learning about the ear so to learn about this we made a clay model and named the different spots and each spot is a different colour
The sound is vibrations that our ears hear we can’t see the vibrations but we know that they are there.
The properties of sound are:
-
Sound travels
-
Sound can be reflected
-
Sound can be absorbed
-
Sound can be modified
-
Sound is caused by vibrations
